On this week’s show, we are joined by Stanley Cup Champion - George Parros! George is a nine year NHL veteran who, after playing U.S College hockey for Princeton and being drafted in the 8th round by the LA Kings, played for 5 different NHL teams. Parros is best remembered as being one of the “enforcers” of the Anaheim Ducks, including during their 2007 Stanley Cup Championship season. Since retiring from playing in the NHL, he has channelled that work experience into a career as the Senior Vice President of Player Safety for the National Hockey League. One of the most intelligent men, and one of the biggest, to ever play in the NHL  - We are pleased to welcome George Parros!

On this week’s show, we are joined by Chris Nilan - a 12 Year NHL Veteran and Stanley Cup Champion who played 688 regular season games as a tough, hard-nosed right winger for the Montreal Canadians, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. Known in hockey circles by his nickname “Knuckles”, he was feared by teams he played against for his tough, intense play, and his ability to drop his gloves without hesitation when the situation called for defending his teammates or creating a spark for his team. He holds the NHL record for most career penalties by an American born player, and is one of only 9 players to have amassed over 3,000 career penalty minutes in the NHL.Since retiring, he has had some serious off-ice battles with addiction, and like his hockey battles, he has met these challenges head on.  He continues to make strides in his recovery, and in his life overall with the help of a great relationship, and a big beautiful dog named Adele. On this week’s show, we are joined by Mike Vernon, who began, and ended, his career with his hometown Calgary Flames - with stints in Detroit, San Jose and Florida in between. During his 20 year career, he was a dominant presence in net earning two  Stanley Cup Championships, and was the named the Conn Smyth Trophy as the Most valuable player in the 1997 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He was a 5 time NHL All Star, with 385 career wins, and will be Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame next week!  Enjoy!

This week we are joined by a 17 year NHL veteran & Stanley Cup Champion Brian Gionta. Brian played for 4 NHL Teams – the New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadians, Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins. He entered the NHL as a 3rd round Draft pick, by the Devils in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, after leading Boston College to an NCAA Championship as Team Captain.  Gionta also served as Team Captain for both the Habs and the Sabres. He was also a member of the USA Olympic Hockey Team for the 2018 Olympics and was also, as you probably guessed - Team Captain!  Great player, great leader, great person and great interview - enjoy!!

On this week’s show, we are pleased to be joined by Brian Rolston,  a first round Draft choice , in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Rolston was a 17 year veteran of 1,256 games in the National Hockey League. He is a NCAA Champion, with Lake Superior State, a Stanley Cup Champion with the New Jersey Devils, a 3 time Olympian, and a Gold Medalist with Team USA in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. He had one of the hardest slap shots in the NHL that occasionally made few NHL Goalies duck - he shares some interesting stories!!! Enjoy!

This week we are joined by Joe Mullen - one of the best American born players to play in the NHL! Despite being un-drafted he became a three time Stanley Cup Champion who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League with the St Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins between 1980 and 1997.Born and raised in New York City, he was the first American player to score 500 Goals and to reach 1,000 points in his career. Mullen received the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1995 in recognition of his contributions to the sport in the United States. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000. Welcome to Season 2! On this week’s show, we are joined by Pierre Turgeon, the first player selected in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft and soon to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this November! He played for 19 seasons for 6 NHL Teams, where he scored over a point a game in his 1,294 NHL Games. A 5 time NHL All Star, and winner of the Lady Bing Trophy, he is one only 46 players to have scored more than 500 goals in their NHL Career.On top of all that talent, he is widely regarded as being one of the ‘nicest guys’ in the game of hockey - we are thrilled to have Pierre Turgeon on the debut episode of Season 2!
