We are pleased to be joined by Ryan Walter, a 15 year NHL veteran and Stanley Cup Champion, During his 15 year career, he played over 1000 games for three teams. First, he spent 4 seasons with the Washington Capitals, who picked him 2nd overall in the 1978 NHL Entry Draft, and named him Team Captain the following season making him the youngest player ever at that point, to be named as a team Captain in the history of NHL. Ryan then spent 9 seasons with the Montreal Canadians where he won a Stanley Cup and then closed out his career playing his final 2 years as a member of the Vancouver Canucks. Post-career he went on to coach in the NHL as an assistant with the Canucks, the Canadian Women’s National Team, spent over 9 years as an on-air analyst & broadcaster, as well as 3 seasons as the President of the Abbostford Heat of the American Hockey league.  On top of all that - he is also an accomplished motivational speaker, an author and leadership expert!  So pleased to be joined by Ryan …

We are thrilled joined by José Theodore! One of our best interviews so far - super entertaining!! Jose played over 700 NHL games and is best known as being one of the most popular players during his 8½ seasons with the Montreal Canadians in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. In 2002, he played in 67 games posting the lowest goals against average in the NHL and won the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s Most valuable player. He also won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top Goalie!  After his retirement from the NHL, he took the unusual step of becoming a journalist with the Journal de Montreal as a columnist covering his former team, the Habs, and has also become a successful real estate developer and a licensed Pilot! Alexander Daigle joins us this week! Alex was one of the most highly anticipated players ever to come out of Canadian Junior Hockey - A 6-foot and 200 -pound center, possessing ridiculous speed & stickhandling skills, he tore apart QMJHL in his draft year, accumulating a staggering 137 points in only 53 games for the Victoriaville Tigres - it was easy to see how such production and domination vaulted him to the top of prospects for the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.He was selected 1st over-all by the Ottawa Senators, but struggled to ever reach the lofty expectations placed on him by NHL scouts and fans alike. On this week’s show, we are joined by Bernie Federko, a 14 year NHL Veteran who played all but his final season with the St Louis Blues! Bernie was a first round pick in the 1976 NHL Entry Draft, and put up very impressive numbers that still remain as St Louis Blues Franchise records including career games played (927), career assists (721) career points (1073) and career playoff assists (66). He was the first NHL player in League history to get 50 assists in 10 consecutive seasons. Bernie played exactly 1,000 NHL Games, and finished his career with 1,130 points! At the time of his retirement in 1990, only 15 players had ever scored more points in the NHL. Less than a year later, the Blues retired his jersey, and in 2002 he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame! Great interview with a great player & great person - ENJOY!!

This week we are thrilled to be joined by Brent Sutter - an 18 year NHL Veteran who is part of the legendary Sutter Family from Viking, Alberta!  Brent is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion, a 3 time Canada Cup Champion, and post playing career, has coached with the  New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames in the NHL. Brent has also played a huge role in Canadian Junior Hockey as Owner, General Manager & Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels, winning the 2001 Memorial Cup along the way. AND, if that wasn’t enough  - coached Canada’s World Junior Team to IHHF World Juniors Championship Gold Medals in both 2005 and 2006!  He shares some very crazy stories about growing up and playing junior & NHL hockey with his 6 brothers - super entertaining - ENJOY!

On this week’s show, we are joined by Adam Oates, one of the greatest playmakers in hockey history - NHL Scouts felt he too was “too slow” as a junior, and he went un-drafted in 1982.  However, after then playing 3 years of U.S College hockey and working on his game at RPI,  in 1985 he signed the NHL's highest rookie contract in history (at the time) with the Detroit Red Wings, and went on to play 19 seasons in the NHL. He certainly proved his critics wrong, as his speed wasn’t an issue averaging over a point a game in the 1,337 NHL games he played. Oates ended his career with 1,420 regular season points and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012, and in 2017, was named one of the Top 100 players in NHL History. We are joined by Bill Ranford, a 2 time Stanley Cup Champion who was the starting goaltender for the Edmonton Oilers the last time they won the Cup in 1990.  Ranford was selected in the third round of the 1985 NHL Entry Draft 52nd overall, by the Boston Bruins. He played fifteen seasons in the NHL with 5 different teams and was also a member of the Canadian National team that won a Canada Cup, and a World Championship along the way. In fact, he is the only player in the history of hockey to be awarded the MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Canada Cup, & the Men's Hockey World Championship!  He is currently the Goaltending coach for the Los Angeles Kings.

On this week’s show, we are joined by Dave "The Hammer" Schultz, a 2 time Stanley Cup Champion, and the current NHL record holder for penalty minutes in a single season – he had 472 of them! One of the most feared fighters in the National Hockey League back in the 1970’s, and a key catalyst of the “Broad Street Bullies” during the Philadelphia Flyer’s back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships in 1974 and 1975 – Dave shares some very candid insights about his NHL career and a few may surprise you!

We are thrilled to joined by Glenn Anderson - a 6 time Stanley Cup Champion, who played 16 seasons for 4 NHL Teams. Glenn is best known as a 5 time Cup winner with the Edmonton Oilers, performing especially well in important games garnering him the reputation of a "money" player. His five playoff “game winning” overtime goals rank third in NHL history. During the playoffs, he accumulated 214 points, the fourth most in NHL history. He also holds the Edmonton Oilers team record for regular season game winning goals with 72.   He is one of only seven Oilers players to have won all five Cups in franchise history. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008 and his jersey number, 9, was retired by the Oilers in January 2009.

We are joined by Rejean Houle - a FIVE TIME Stanley Cup Champion. He was the first pick over-all in the 1969 NHL Entry Draft, taken by the Montreal Canadians. During his 14 year career, he played 9 seasons for the Habs, and also spent 3 seasons with the other Quebec based team, at that time part of the WHA – the Quebec Nordiques.After his retirement from the Habs he spent nine years as a senior business executive with Molson Breweries before becoming the Canadians General Manager from 1995 to 2000 – a challenging time in the team’s history. He continues to serve as an “Ambassador” for the Montreal Canadians to this day. A true Quebec hockey legend - so please to be joined by Rejean!

On this week’s show, we are joined by J.S. Giguere! - a Stanley Cup Champion, and Conn Smythe Trophy winner - Giguere was the last player to be named the recipient of this trophy as the Most valuable Player in the Stanley Cup playoffs, while playing for a team that did not win the Cup! He was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, and even though he is nine years into his retirement from the NHL, he is still the current record holder for career wins and shutouts for the Anaheim Ducks.

George is a nine year NHL veteran who, after playing U.S College hockey for Princeton and being drafted in the 8th round by the LA Kings, played for 5 different NHL teams. Parros is best remembered as being one of the “enforcers” of the Anaheim Ducks, including during their 2007 Stanley Cup Championship season. Since retiring from playing in the NHL, he has channelled that work experience into a career as the Senior Vice President of Player Safety for the National Hockey League. One of the most intelligent men, and one of the biggest, to ever play in the NHL  - We are pleased to welcome George Parros!

On this week’s show, we are joined by Chris Nilan - a 12 Year NHL Veteran and Stanley Cup Champion who played 688 regular season games as a tough, hard-nosed right winger for the Montreal Canadians, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. Known in hockey circles by his nickname “Knuckles”, he was feared by teams he played against for his tough, intense play, and his ability to drop his gloves without hesitation when the situation called for defending his teammates or creating a spark for his team. He holds the NHL record for most career penalties by an American born player, and is one of only 9 players to have amassed over 3,000 career penalty minutes in the NHL.Since retiring, he has had some serious off-ice battles with addiction, and like his hockey battles, he has met these challenges head on.  He continues to make strides in his recovery, and in his life overall with the help of a great relationship, and a big beautiful dog named Adele. On this week’s show, we are joined by Mike Vernon, who began, and ended, his career with his hometown Calgary Flames - with stints in Detroit, San Jose and Florida in between. During his 20 year career, he was a dominant presence in net earning two  Stanley Cup Championships, and was the named the Conn Smyth Trophy as the Most valuable player in the 1997 Stanley Cup Playoffs. He was a 5 time NHL All Star, with 385 career wins, and will be Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame next week!  Enjoy!

This week we are joined by a 17 year NHL veteran & Stanley Cup Champion Brian Gionta. Brian played for 4 NHL Teams – the New Jersey Devils, Montreal Canadians, Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins. He entered the NHL as a 3rd round Draft pick, by the Devils in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, after leading Boston College to an NCAA Championship as Team Captain.  Gionta also served as Team Captain for both the Habs and the Sabres. He was also a member of the USA Olympic Hockey Team for the 2018 Olympics and was also, as you probably guessed - Team Captain!  Great player, great leader, great person and great interview - enjoy!!

On this week’s show, we are pleased to be joined by Brian Rolston,  a first round Draft choice , in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Rolston was a 17 year veteran of 1,256 games in the National Hockey League. He is a NCAA Champion, with Lake Superior State, a Stanley Cup Champion with the New Jersey Devils, a 3 time Olympian, and a Gold Medalist with Team USA in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. He had one of the hardest slap shots in the NHL that occasionally made few NHL Goalies duck - he shares some interesting stories!!! Enjoy!

Despite being un-drafted he became a three time Stanley Cup Champion who played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League with the St Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins between 1980 and 1997.Born and raised in New York City, he was the first American player to score 500 Goals and to reach 1,000 points in his career. Mullen received the Lester Patrick Trophy in 1995 in recognition of his contributions to the sport in the United States. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000. Welcome to Season 2! On this week’s show, we are joined by Pierre Turgeon, the first player selected in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft and soon to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this November! He played for 19 seasons for 6 NHL Teams, where he scored over a point a game in his 1,294 NHL Games. A 5 time NHL All Star, and winner of the Lady Bing Trophy, he is one only 46 players to have scored more than 500 goals in their NHL Career.On top of all that talent, he is widely regarded as being one of the ‘nicest guys’ in the game of hockey - we are thrilled to have Pierre Turgeon on the debut episode of Season 2!
